Sorry it has taken me so long to get some pictures on here. It has been a crazy month, but as promised, here they are. These are all from Friday night. We had such a great turnout at all activities and appreciate everyone who helped and all those who came, especially long distances. There are more out there so if anyone has any they would like to share, go ahead and post them or you can send them to me.
Thanks,
Angie

RSVP!!

Please don't forget to RSVP by July 3rd!! This is very important as we need to know how many people will be eating and how much space we need to set aside. If you are coming, don't worry about sending your money now-- you can pay at the luncheon. (But please don't RSVP and not show up. We'll have spent money on you and not received any in return.) We hope we have a large turnout and have some fun things planned. Let me know if you have any questions.

DECLO HIGH SCHOOL: CLASS OF 1999

IT’s THE 10 Year Reunion for the Class of ‘99!!!

Dear CLASSMATE,
You are invited to our ten year class reunion! There will be three events which you may attend:
1) Friday, July 10th @ 7:00 pm at a banquet room in the Best Western Inn in Burley.
This event is for Class of ’99 graduates and spouses only.
Please come reacquaint & order dessert and sodas!

2) Saturday, July 11th @ 10:00 am by the old Wheat Nut Kitchen in Declo (north of the LDS church).
Declo Days’ Parade! Parade begins at 10:30 am. We have a float for all Class of ’99 Graduates—come and throw some candy to your spouse and kids! (And…bring squirt guns?!)

3) Saturday, July 11th @ 12:00 pm-3:00 pm in the multi-purpose room of Declo High School.
Potluck lunch for Class of ’99 Graduates & their families will start at approximately 12:30 pm. Games & races for kids and grads at 1:30! Chicken & rolls will be provided for everyone.
Please bring the following for the potluck depending on the first letter of your maiden/last name:
A-F Green salad or Jello salad
E-J Chips
K-S Drinks—we’ll have coolers full of ice
T-Z Brownies or cookies
Please bring $20 a family or $8 a person to contribute towards the lunch, door prizes, and games for our reunion; any extra funds will be used for the 20 year reunion.

IMPORTANT: RSVP by July 3rd IN THE FOLLOWING WAY!

Call Angie Pickup Hamblin at 307-780-6161 or email Angie at hamblins@hotmail.com and tell her which events you will be able to attend (#1, #2, #3). If you can come to the Class of ’99 Family Potluck, please also let Angie know how many people (including children) will be eating dinner. J

If you will not be able to attend the reunion at all, still give Angie an update on you & your family; we’re putting together a simple class roster. Also, there are a few classmates still hiding…ask Angie if all your friends have been contacted! Thanks for your time, and see you in July!

Josh Webb

This is Tara, Josh's wife, posting for him. We have been married for 6 1/2 years and have three beautiful daughters, Brytten (5), Macy (4), and Paige (1). We just bought our first home and have moved to the small community of Murtaugh. We love it. Josh works for Northwest Farm Credit in Burley, where he is a loan officer. We hope to stay put for awhile.

To Be or Not To Be???

Well the time is drawing near and I am toying with the idea of not having a reunion because we have no way of telling if a large percentage of our class have been notified. I would feel bad of a lot of people didn't know about the reunion and felt like they weren't included. The blog is the only way I could think of to find out and keep track of who has been notified. I know more people have come across the blog than those who have posted about themselves, but we don't know who you are or how to contact you. Even if you don't want to tell us what you're doing or leave a picture or whatever--please leave a mark that you were here somehow and if there are others you are in contact with know about the reunion as well. If we have a higher percentage of our class that at least knows about the reunion, we can go ahead with it. If the reunion does take place, we are going to hold it on the weekend of Declo Days (per tradition). I believe it in the weekend of July 10-11. Hopefully we can round up some more people and move forward with the plans.

Emily (Cook) Jewkes

Hello everyone! Much has changed for me since little 'ole Declo. After graduating from Coastal Bend Univ. in southern Texas, I moved back to Utah where I met my husband Jeff Jewkes. We are going on five years now and have a very energetic 2 1/2 year old son Mason. We have made Salt Lake City our home and love it here. Jeff works as a supervisor at eBay inc. and I work as the head hygienist in a busy dental office. I have also stayed busy playing in the West Valley Symphony for a few years. It will be great to see all of you again!

Wendy (Heward) Wells

The Wells family has had some crazy last few years, but we are finally settled down in Pocatello, Idaho. My husband, Peter Wells, is an attorney for May, Rammell, & Thompson law firm. We have been married for nine years and we now have four children: Khali(7), Hayley(6), Porter(3), and Jaycee(3 mos.). I currently stay home to take care of the kids and do many hobbies on the side.

Angie (Pickup) Hamblin

Since I am bugging other people to post- I suppose I should go ahead and do my own. My husband, Blaine, and I have been married for almost 8 years. We graduated from BYU-Idaho and immediately moved to Denver, CO where Blaine was a construction superintendent with Pulte Homes. Our son Jace was born there and he is now 3. After a couple of years, we moved to Nashville, TN with the same company and our daughter, Jenna was born. She is now 7 months old. We moved back to the good ole West in November and are currently living in Wyoming until our house in Tennessee sells. Blaine is now the Wyoming Project Manager for a commercial drywall company out of Sandy, UT. We will probably be settling down in northern Utah somewhere, but haven't made any permanent decision yet. As for me, I stay at home with my two munchkins and try to stay sane! :)
